Monster-in-Law turned out to be funny as long as you don't set your expectations too high. It is not meant to be a brilliant piece of cinema, but as a goofy film, it does just fine. With a predictable plot line, it is not the sort of movie you are going to go home raving about, but it is the sort of movie you may just be entertained by for and hour and a half.
