Jennifer Lopez creates a convincing portrayal of Selena. She even manages to look a lot like her in the movie. She does a great job capturing the essence of the young woman who was Selena. The movie, in and of itself, is average. If you really like biography movies, you will very much enjoy this. It is pretty well done. However, lives can be boring to watch, since you have one of your own. Plus I'm biased, since I really don't like Selena's work.
