Summary: Jennifer plays a psychotherapist experimenting with new techniques of providing therapy to comatose patients. When a serial killer, Carl Stargher, played by Vincent D'Onfrio, is captured and falls into an irreversible coma, she goes into his mind in an attempt to save his final victim. She must hurry because according to the killer's MO, she only has about 40 hours before the victim dies. She also must protect herself from the killers demented psyche that poses a threat to her while she is in his mind.Review:
This movie was much better than I expected it to be. Vincent D'Onfrio is an incredibly talented actor and plays a truly disturbing individual in this film. The cinematography is fantastic. Very interesting scenes are used to describe the inner workings of the mind, the frightening spaces, the comforting spaces. Though a little on the unrealistic side, this movie takes a compelling science fiction approach to the mind.
